FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: compounds (I) and (II) were synthesized by interaction of 2-butylbicyclo- [2.2.1]-hept-5-ene with diisobutylaluminium chloride taken at the molar ratio 10:(10-12), respectively, mainly at 10: 11, in the presence of catalyst consisting of Cp2ZrCl2 and ZrCl4 where Cp - cyclopentadiene taken at the molar ratio 1:(0.5-1.5), respectively, mainly at 1:1, at concentration 2-5 mol.% Cp2ZrCl2 with respect to 2-butylbicyclo-[2.2.1] -hept-5-ene, preferably at 3 mol.%, in methylene chloride. Reaction time is 6-10 h, yield of the end products is 84-98%. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, increased yield of products. 1 tbl
