FIELD: radiochemical technology. SUBSTANCE: aqueous solution of neptunium (III) nitrate in the mixture with hydrazine nitrate is added to nitric acid solution containing neptunium (IV) and plutonium (IV), and then neptunium (IV) is extracted. Extract is washed by addition of neptunium (III) nitrate solution in the mixture with hydrazine nitrate. Additional feeding of reducing agent to the extraction zone is possible. Separation coefficient of neptunium and plutonium is 1·106.. EFFECT: improved method of separation.
