FIELD: transport machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: transport vehicle model for determining its aerodynamic properties has the strain gauge type scaling device 15 and the units 5 of double-way multiport spools with drive members 11. The inputs 6 of each spool are provided by draining openings 3, arranged in mutually adjacent cross sections, the output 7 is connected with the respective input 8 of the pneumatic switching device. A number of spools in the units 5 corresponds to a number of positions of the pneumatic switching device 4; shafts of the pneumatic switching device 4 are connected mechanically with the same drive unit 10. Method of determining aerodynamic properties of the transport vehicle model comprises steps of measuring pressure in the draining openings 3, arranged with a predetermined pitch in cross sections of a housing; determining distributed and integral aerodynamic characteristics with use of the pressure, had been measured; determining with use of the scaling device 15 integral aerodynamic characteristics, comparing them with aerodynamic characteristics, had been received with use of the measured pressure; at mismatching of these characteristics measuring pressure in new draining openings 3 of intermediate cross sections successively until the integral aerodynamic characteristics, had been received with use of the scaling device 15 and with use of the pressure values in the draining openings 3, differ only by a predetermined value. EFFECT: lowered time period of an aerodynamic equipment operation due to decreased cycles of pressure measuring in the draining openings, necessary for providing predetermined accuracy degree and reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwg
