IDLE ECONOMIZER

FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: economizer has housing 5 and spring-loaded valving member made up as needle 1 with thrust bearing 2 and positioned inside the housing. Needle 1 is kinematically coupled with diaphragm 6 of the air chamber connected with the space downstream of the carburetor throttle and made up as a cylindric flexible shell. Needle 1 is perpendicular to the shell side and received in the slot of housing 5. A spacer made up as two damping members of the same height is interposed between the housing and shell. One of the members is positioned above the shell and the other one underlies the shell in the zone of its axis which is perpendicular to the needle axis. The dampers can be also made in block with the housing, made of flexible material, and mounted for permitting changing the distance between them. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
