FIELD: designs of specimens subjected to effect of stress-strain gradients, determination of spare structural strength of concrete applicable in laboratory and research work. SUBSTANCE: specimen for determination of concrete strength on the basis of stress-strain gradients has symmetrically disposed parts with large and small-strain gradients has symmetrically disposed parts with large and small bases. Specimen at end faces has oblique reinforcement in form of wire spiral. Adjacent parts of specimen have common large and small bases. Two opposite faces of specimen are parallel, two other opposite faces of specimen and its each part have convex-concave shape with angles between tangent lines to them and longitudinal axis of 5-25 deg. Small base height-to- large base height ratio is 1:(1-3). Length of concave sections of two adjacent parts of specimen equals 0.2-1 height of cross-sections of these sections. Distance between two cross-sections with minimal area equals 2-3 heights of these cross-sections. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 dwg
