The bent wire or rod construction is used as a perch for birds esp. birds of prey. The construction is of a symmetrical shape with alternate long and short sides with the sides at equal angles to each other. The bent wire forms a three-dimensional shape which fits inside a tetrahedral outline. The long sides lie along four out of six sides of the tetrahedron, and the short sides are near the four vertices (A,B,C,D) of the tetrahedron.
