The corrosion protection part (1) comprises a bundle of individual steel rods (4) mounted inside a tubular sleeve (5,8) having an anchoring system (3) at its end. The sleeve is guided into the end zone contiguous with the anchoring system in a pre-stressed channel (11). The protection part is guided into its engagement zone in the pre-stressed channel so as to leave a clearance relative to its internal wall. The individual rods spread outwards in the radial direction towards the anchoring system. In the start of the spread is mounted an annular traction element (17) which tightly surrounds the protection bundle. The external diameter of the annular traction element is adjusted to the internal diameter of the pre-stressed channel.
