An apparatus for the investigation of the lung function

There is described an apparatus for testing lung function, which comprises a breathing tube that can be coupled to the airways of a person to be treated and can be selectively connected to different breathing bags via pneumatically controlled valves. In order to facilitate sterilisation, the breathing tube, the valves and the respiratory gas lines leading to the different breathing bags are accommodated in a valve unit which is fitted so as to be easily releasable on a carrier body.
