The invention relates to an arrangement for orienting the rear edges of sheet-metal plates and for feeding sheet-metal plates into roller cutters, with a conveying system for transporting in a fixed position by means of flights on revolving chain paths. It is proposed that two chain paths 12; 13 be arranged transversely to the roller cutters 1, a transport chain 14 with two flights 4; 5 offset by a cycle length 10; 11 being arranged in the first chain path 12, and two transport chains 15; 16 lying parallel to one another and having one flight 6; 7 each being arranged in the second chain path 13.
