Method and set for the standardisation of articulators of different design in respect of hinge axis and centricity

There is proposed a novel method and a set for the standardisation of articulators of different design in respect of hinge axis and centricity, an adjustment frame (1) [lacuna] a counter-plate (6) whose relief (18) points downwards and whose angular position relative to the adjustment frame (1) can be adjusted by means of fixation screws (2) or the like. Corresponding adjustment elements (4) for the hinge axis are suitable for adaptation in arcon and non-arcon articulators. Appropriate screw elements (12) simultaneously permit horizontal alignment of the adjustment counter-plate (6) horizontally on the mandibular arm (10, 10') of the articulator which is adjoined by the fixation of the split cast plate (5) on the mandibular arm (10, 10') of the articulator. The conventional centric key is used to fasten the split cast plate (5) on the maxillary arm (11) of the articulator using a second split cast plate (5) in the corresponding starting articulator for standardisation of the centricity of the split cast plate (5).
