The invention relates to a hydraulic valve which is intended to be used in particular for controlling a hydraulic actuator in a system for the rolling stabilisation of a motor vehicle. A known valve of this type has a valve piston via which a first consumer connection and a second consumer connection can be alternately connected to a pressure connection and a tank connection and which can be displaced from a spring-centred, middle rest position for connecting the first consumer connection to the pressure connection and the second consumer connection to the tank connection by means of a first electromagnet in a first direction and for transposed connecting by means of a second electromagnet in an opposite, second direction. During rolling stabilisation, the pressure in one consumer connection is to be set to a certain value as a function of certain operating parameters. In a known system, a separate proportional pressure-relief valve is provided for this purpose. The object of the invention is to combine the pressure-relief valve and the directional control valve in a single valve.
