Continuous press for the manufacture of particle boards, fibreboards, laminate boards and similar pressed-material boards

In the passing-through direction of the press, press frames comprising the press upper part and also the press lower part are arranged in a row with press-frame spacing. The upper press platen is connected to working-cylinder piston arrangements which are supported on the press frames. The working-cylinder piston arrangements are differential-cylinder piston arrangements which belong to a hydraulic spacing means of the upper press platen with respect to the lower press platen. Displacement transducers work between the upper press platen and the lower press platen. The upper press platen is equipped with a safety-measuring device with which operationally induced deformations of the upper press platen can be recorded as deformation data. The displacement transducers are connected to a controlling and/or regulating device which controls the pressing gap. The safety-measuring device acts on a valve-controlling device, bypassing the controlling and/or regulating device. It hydraulically blocks the working-cylinder piston arrangements of the hydraulic spacing means in the event of impermissible deformations of the upper press platen. IMAGE
