The method for repairing corroded and eroded wear plates and bearing surfaces is characterised by the following measures: (a) a new or the old wear plate (9,10) is provisionally screwed on to the corroded and eroded fixing surface; (b) the wear plate is aligned by means of separate adjusting screws (17); (c) the gap (14) between the wear plate and the fixing surface, and the clearance (16) around the fixing screws (15) are filled with a liquid metal-loaded two-component artificial resin; and (d) the fixing screws are tightened after hardening of the resin.
