Detecting elastic-plastic strain during pressure testing of container

The container (1) is filled with liquid and subjected to a predefined test press. by the addition of further liquid. After the test press. has been reached the expansion of the container is measured. The delivery of the liquid is detected as a change in displacement and graphically displayed (9) against pressure. Finally the container is returned to normal press. The quantity of liquid ejected as the container is returned to normal pressure is measured as a further check. The temp. dependent compressibility and vol. change of the pressure medium is taken into account by computer.
