Tasty balls for pets to chew for combatting bad breath

The balls, of essentially randomly-orientated fibres, are consolidated by a binding agent. They are intended to clean the teeth and mouths of animals, especially house pets. They contain active cleaning ingredients to clean, disinfect and maintain the teeth in good order. Flavourings, and opt. a supplementary flavour-enhancer, may be added. Aromatic substances or spices, and preservatives, may also be included. Each ball is less than 20 mm in dia., a wound body having an indefinite number of adjacent layers of fibrous band, fixed by a binder which is applied during winding. The active cleaning agent, flavour, aroma and flavour-enhancer are saliva soluble.
