The invention relates to a device for assembling several documents comprising folded pages, generally in folio format, in a holder which will allow the complete article to be stored either vertically or horizontally, and may comprise two presentations. The first presentation concerns a device consisting of a jacket having a left part 1 and a right part 2 connected by a spine and two strips 3 and 4 riveted first to the part 1 and an appropriate number of rods 5 having open hooks at each end into which the strips are passed, after which the two strips are riveted to the part 2. The second presentation concerns an exactly similar device except that after the flanges have been passed through the hooks of the rods they are not rivetted to the part 2 but each held in a clasp known per se (not shown) attached to the part 2. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the storage and handling of collections of magazines, reviews, pamphlets, journals, etc. IMAGE
