Device for studying the mobility of the spinal column, comprising in particular a horizontal base (1) on which a subject to be examined is placed in a standing position, a vertical reference plane (2) integral with the base and provided with adjustable locking means (3) for immobilising in particular the pelvis of the subject, grips (4, 5, 6) which are in each case joined to a wire wound about an elastic device (7) which includes an electrical sensor measuring the length of wire unwound when the said subject performs various prescribed movements, keeping hold of a grip, the electrical sensors being joined to a transducer (10) which is itself connected to a microcomputer (11) equipped with a printer (12) and using software adapted for acquisition and storage of the measured values, and for displaying or printing out a list of results, interpreting the examination and proposing treatment.
