The present invention relates to a composition intended to be used in the agricultural field, which can promote the photosynthesis of the plants. The present invention also relates to the method of preparing this composition as well as its use. The composition according to the present invention can accelerate the photosynthesis of different types of plants and thus increase the quality of the cultures and the efficiency of these latter. The composition comprises an effective amount of choline, of its derivatives or of salts which can be used in the agricultural field, as well as a support which can be used in the agricultural field.
