The present invention relates to a mechanical device with a control means effecting a one-way linear displacement and a follower means which as a consequence effects a reciprocating displacement. The device is characterised in that the control means (9) acts on the piston (6) of a hydraulic actuator (1) and the follower means (11) is actuated by a differential hydraulic actuator (2) hydraulically connected to the control hydraulic actuator (1) in closed circuit.
