This device is of the type in which the ferrule (6) has a central hook (30) engaging into a groove (16) of the lever (4) and a non-recoil piece capable of coming to bear on a transverse face of the lever. According to the invention, the non-recoil piece consists of a stud (33) which, being integral with the ferrule (6) and in the rear extension of the central hook (30), fits partially into a notch (14) made in a central rib (12) projecting longitudinally from the bottom of the lever, the said rib (12) being thick at the rear and hollow at the front for the hook, whilst the non-recoil stud is associated with two other non-recoil studs (37) which, being integral with the ferrule and fitting into slots (19) passing through the bottom (10) of the lever (4) on either side of the central rib (12), project from the rear ends of two lateral ribs (35) projecting longitudinally underneath the ferrule (6) and fitting over their entire length into grooves (17) of the lever (4).
