Ring-type painting gun with air atomizing nozzle

A ring-type painting gun (3) has a gun body (4) having a circumferential opening (7) so as to allow for entry of an elongate workpiece (W) to be painted, and a plurality of nozzles (5) radially disposed so as to eject paint towards a central portion of the gun body. The painting gun (3) is moved in a longitudinal direction of the workpiece (W) when the workpiece is placed inside the gun. Each of the nozzles (5) is constituted by an air atomising nozzle for atomizing the paint by atomizing air. An amount of the paint to be ejected from each of the nozzles is set to 5 - 35cc/min per 1kg/cm2 of atomizing air pressure.
