DICTIONARY PREPARATION DEVICE FOR MODIFICATION RELATION ANALYSIS AND ANALYZING DEVICE FOR THE RELATION

PURPOSE: To use even an expression which is vague in modification relation as basis information for analyzing uncertain modification relation. CONSTITUTION: A dictionary holding part 11 holds a dictionary for modification relation analysis. An input sentence analysis part 12 detects modification relation from the input sentence. A modification storage part 14 retrieves the basis information for analyzing uncertain modification relation. The input sentence analysis part 12 analyzes the uncertain modification relation on the basis of the retrieval result. A relation extraction part 13 requests the modification storage part 14 to retrieve and register certain modification relation and the uncertain modification relation at a request from the input sentence analysis part 12. The modification storage part 14 executes the request. In this case, the certain modification relation is registered together with information showing its appearance frequency. The uncertain modification relation is registered by being merged with similar modification relation when the similar modification relation is present or alone when not.
