LONG SIZE RAW MATERIAL INTRODUCING COVER OF STRAIGHTENER

PURPOSE: To provide a long size raw material introducing cover being remark ably effective for the safety without being jumped out of a long size raw mate rial from a slit of the introducing cover and without hurting a worker. ;CONSTITUTION: A long size raw material introducing cover 5 has a tubular cover body 9 arranged by facing the end toward a long size raw material inserting part 2 of a straightener 1, and on the upper circumferential face of this cover body 9, a slit 8 with the size being able to insert a long size raw material 4 is formed so as to extend to the longitudinal direction. A slit shutter member 7 is able to be received in the slit 8 and it is a subject to cover the slit 8. On the top end side of the cover body 9 (the straightener 1 side), a spindle 6 is fixed so as to be freely rotating around the axis and to extend to the longitudinal direction of the cover body 9. Two brackets 10, 11 to hold the slit shutter member 7 are fixed on the spindle 6. The slit shutter member 7 is separated from the slit 8 by turning the brackets 10, 11 making the spindle 6 as the fulcrum, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
