CONDUCTOR ROLL FOR NI PLATING EXCELLENT IN CORROSION RESISTANCE AND WEAR RESISTANCE

摘要

PURPOSE: To attain excellent durability by improving corrosion resistance and wear resistance without deteriorating the conducting property of a conductor roll for Ni electroplating on a thin steel sheet. ;CONSTITUTION: A WC hot-melt-spray coating layer having a Ni-Cr alloy based binder is formed on the drum part surface of the conductor roll composed of a Ni base alloy such as hastelloy containing 12-18wt.% Cr, 15-18wt.% Mo, 2-10wt.% Fe and 2-5wt.% W. The wear resistance and the corrosion resistance is improved by the hot-melt-spray coating layer on the surface of the conductor roll and the stripping of the hot-melt-spray coating layer is prevented by giving corrosion resistance also to the roll base material itself to prevent the erosion of the base material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
