ONE-PIECE PANTY HOSE AND THEIR PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a one-piece panty hose having a comfortable feeling of wearing. CONSTITUTION: The one-piece panty hose are obtained by forming stitch increasing parts 7 from the inside part of the crotch toward the outside by tubular plain stitch in the outside part of leg parts 6 to a panty part 2, forming the crotch part 3 according to a tuck stitch comprising tucks of a least 4 times and regulating the standing length of the crotch part 3 so as not to exceed 2/5 of the standing length of a hip part base on the same number of courses in the one-piece panty hose prepared by continuously knitting the leg parts 6 and the panty part 2. In the crotch part 3, tuck loops are preferably taken out to the inside of the panty and the number of knitted courses is preferably (3/5) to (4/5) based on that of panty part 2. When the leg parts 6, the panty part 2 and the stitch increasing parts 7 are knitted from covered elastic fibers, the fitness of minute details is improved.
