SLIP FORM FOR FAX-OCR SYSTEM INPUT AND WORK SLIP FAX-OCR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To improve the OCR reading accuracy of the character on work slip form for input for which a FAX transmission is performed by providing the guide pattern composed of 9 dots which are arranged in 3 lines × 3 columns per character at a handwritten entry column and entering characters by connecting the points. CONSTITUTION: At the handwritten entry column that a FAX-OCR device reads, the guide pattern composed of 9 small dots which are arranged in 3 lines ×3 columns per character is printed. A slip entering person can easily enter a character by connecting these dots by a handwriting by using a writing tool such as a pencil, etc. A remote FAX 1 transmits a work slip form 3 for input to the FAX-OCR device 2 connected by a telephone line. The FAX-OCR device 2 transmits the work slip data 102 that a character recognition processing is performed for the work slip image data 101 transmitted from the FAX 1 to a host computer 7.
