PURPOSE: To provide a method for displaying multichannel instructions and an apparatus for displaying multichannel signals wherein all channels, channels in a selected range among them and relation between channels in a range displayed on a screen can be recognized at a glance on a multichannel display device having a plurality of signal channels. ;CONSTITUTION: The invention relates to a method for displaying channel instructions of a display device for simultaneously displaying signal waveforms of a part of signals of a plurality of channels on a screen. It approximately vertically identifies and displays, on the screen, first linear instruction display 30 corresponding to a range of all of the plurality of channels, second linear instruction display 32 corresponding to a range of selected channels among the plurality of channels and third linear instruction display 34 corresponding to a range of channels simultaneously displayed on the screen among the plurality of channels.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
