PURPOSE: To report the present position of a moving body together with map information by a picture and a voice by using the position detection system of an artificial satellite to detect the present position and transmitting position information to a fixed station by radio. CONSTITUTION: In a moving body X, position information detected by a satellite communication means A and a moving body position detection means 3 is stored in a moving body position storage means C. This position information is transmitted by a control means D for communication with the fixed station and a means E for communication with the fixed station when transmission is requested from the side of a fixed station Y. The fixed station Y receives this information by a control means H for communication with the moving body and a means I for communication with the moving body and stores it in a position information storage means G. The present position of the fixed station is stored in the position information storage means G by a fixed station position information input means F, and map information is stored in a map information storage means J. A report means K reports position information of the moving body and the fixed station and map information.
