AGENT FOR SOLIDIFICATION TREATMENT OF SURPLUS SOIL HAVING HIGH WATER CONTENT, ITS PRODUCTION AND SOLIDIFICATION TREATMENT OF SURPLUS SOIL HAVING HIGH WATER CONTENT USING THE AGENT

PURPOSE: To uniformly disperse sodium alginate for the solidification treatment of surplus soil having high water content by adding sodium alginate to surplus soil in powdery state. CONSTITUTION: Wet wood flour 1a moistened by spraying water 17 from a nozzle 16 and a powdery mixture 2 containing sodium alginate are mixed with each other by a kneader 18, dried by a drier 24 and crushed by a crusher 31 to obtain powder 4 of a solidification treatment agent composed of wood flour 1 and sodium alginate integrally bonded with each other. The contact of the sodium alginate in the obtained solidification treatment agent 4 with water in the high water-content surplus soil can be prevented by the water-absorptivity of the wood flour 1 to enable the uniform dispersion and kneading of the sodium alginate in the surplus soil without forming lumps of the alginate. As a result, sodium alginate can be added to high water-content surplus soil in powdery state to increase the solidification treatment effect, decrease the amount of the alginate, dispense with the liquid preparation work of an aqueous solution of sodium alginate and reduce the cost.
