PURPOSE: To provide a multiple row fertilizer application seeding machine designed to enable a precise change in ridge width. ;CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for changing the ridge width is obtained by installing the fronts of plural working frames (a) having a screw shaft 1 equipped with a small-pitch right-handed thread A, a large-pitch right-handed thread B, a small-pitch left-handed thread C and a large-pitch left-handed thread D respectively provided therein on a machine frame 2 so as to freely rotate and further a handle 3 attached to the end of the screw shaft 1 on both central lateral parts and both lateral parts of the machine frame 2 so as to be respectively slidable left and right and respectively screwing male screw cylinders 7 respectively installed in the plural working frames (a) onto the small-pitch right-handed thread A, large-pitch right-handed thread B, small-pitch left-handed thread C or large-pitch left-handed thread D and attaching the lower port part of a flexible fertilizer dropping tube connected to the lower part of each fertilizer receiving trough 9 facing to a fertilizer delivery port of a fertilizer tank 8 loaded onto the machine frame 2 in each fertilizer application furrow opener 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
