PURPOSE: To allow measuring without interruption even in severe weather by using a spectral radiant quantity measured by another accurate spectral spectroradiometer as a reference. ;CONSTITUTION: Spectral radiant quantity is measured in a plurality of wave length by a simple spectroradiometer in the wave length area which is an object of measuring of natural light. One spectral radiant quantity in the wave length area obtained by another accurate spectroradiometer is made a reference. Ratio of the reference spectral radiant quantity to the spectral radiant quantity measured by the simple spectral emission meter are found. An expression expressing a ratio in the wave length area which is the object of the measuring from a plurality of these ratios are approximately determined. The spectral radiant quantity is found by multiplying the ratio by the known reference spectral radiant quantity. For instance, an amount of ozone in an arbitrary latitude and an arbitrary time can be found by using the measuring method. The simple spectroradiometer used comprises a spectroradiometer body B, an exchanger C and an operation circuit D, and the body B has a plurality of filters.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
