PURPOSE: To obtain a continuous filament/staple fiber conjugated yarn with reduced sheath-core deviation by treating a plurality of filament yarns with a fluid jet, then guiding them together with staple fiber bundles into a bundle- spinning nozzle. ;CONSTITUTION: Polyester multifilament yarns 1, 2 are guided through yarn guides 3, 4 and the first tensors 5, 6, then one filament yarn 1 is directly introduced into the Taslan nozzle 8, while the other filament yarn 2 is introduced via a feed roller 7 into the Taslan nozzle with 5-50% overfeed rate to effect interlacing and loop formation of these yarns, then the interlaced yarn is guided via the second tensor 9, a feed guide 10 and a front roller 12 into a bundle- spinning nozzle 13. In the meantime, an acrylic staple fiber bundle 14 is passed from a back roller 15 to a drafting unit 11 to effect drafting to a prescribed yarn thickness and combined with the filament yarns 1, 2 under tension of 0.1-0.2d/de to allow the staple fiber bundle 14 to wrap these filament yarns 1, 2 inside by the action of the swirling air flow from the bundle-spinning nozzle 13 whereby this continuous filament/staple fiber conjugated yarn is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
