PURPOSE: To attain stabilized production of conjugated yarn having both fabric hands of continuous filament yarns and staple fiber yarns by conjugating spun yarns/produced by the bundle spinning process with continuous filament yarns by means of a fluid jet treatment. ;CONSTITUTION: An acrylic staple fiber bundle 2 is guided to a drafting unit 5 to draft the bundle to a prescribed thickness, sent via the front roller 4 to a bundling nozzle 6 to form a bundle-spun yarn 15 with the action of swirling air flow. In the meantime, a polyester multifilament yarn 10 unreeled from a pirn 11 is fed via a tensor guide 12 and a feed roller 13 to a space between the bundling nozzle 6 and an interlacing nozzle 14 to join with the bundle-spun yarn 15 and effect a fluid jet treatment in the interlace nozzle 14 under 1.00-1.15 over-feed rate to the textured yarn take-up speed to give the objective conjugated yarn in which the polyester multifilament yarns 10 in interlaced on the outer surface of the bundle-spun yarn 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
