FITTING CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF FITTING VIBRATION CONTROL DEVICE TO STEEL SKELETON

PURPOSE: To accurately fit a vibration control device to a skeleton. ;CONSTITUTION: Span distances are unified by bridging temporary beams 3 of accurate length consisting of column connecting brackets 4A and V brace connecting brackets 4B over steel columns 1. V braces 5 are prevented from hanging down at the time of fitting them to the steel columns 1 by fitting level reference boards 6 to the bottom end of the V braces 5 and by a main beam 2 supporting the dead weight of the v braces 5 through the level reference boards 6. A damping device can be accurately secured to the required position by moving the vibration control device on a truck which is movable in the horizontal and perpendicular directions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
