PURPOSE: To drastically shorten the production time for spheroidized cement and to simplify the construction of an apparatus for production by disposing a rotary disk projectingly provided with plural projecting bodies on the disk surface in a thin type drum, supplying the powder and granular materials of cement on the disk and rotating the disk at a high speed. ;CONSTITUTION: The powder and granular materials of cement are rolled and moved in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the drum, the inner side wall surface of the drum, the front surface of the rotary disk and the outer peripheral surface of the rotary disk by high- speed rotation of the disk, by which bombarding, compressing and shearing effects are imparted thereon and the spheroidized cement is obtd. The gaps between the inner peripheral surface of the thin type drum and the projecting bodies of the rotary disk are made smaller than the gaps between the inner peripheral surface and the inner wall surface of the rotary disk. The powder and granular materials of cement in hopper 14 shown in Fig. are supplied into an annular bombarding and rolling chamber 7 from a chute 13. The rotary disk 4 and blades 5 are rotated by a revolving shaft 6 under high-speed rotation to splash the particles of cement in an arrow direction while rolling these particles, by which the particles are rolled while the particles are bombarded against the inner peripheral surface of an annular stater 8, the outer peripheral surface and inner front surface of the rotary disk 4, the inside wall surface of the front cover 2 and the blades 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
