PURPOSE: To uniformly wind reinforcing fiber on the surface of a mandrel without standing a needle. ;CONSTITUTION: The method for molding the filament winding of a composite material comprises the steps of providing the thermosetting resin layer 31 of the same thermosetting resin as the thermosetting resin contained in a prepreg roving in a predetermined thickness on the surface of a mandrel 30, regulating the viscosity of the resin to a predetermined viscosity, and winding the roving on the layer 31 having a predetermined viscosity provided on the surface of the mandrel by filament winding means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
