PRESSURE-BEARING PANEL FOUNDATION HAVING BASE-ISOLATION PROPERTY AND USABLE AS HEAT STORAGE MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To improve base isolation property by putting elastic material under the side and the end of a pressure-bearing panel foundation. ;CONSTITUTION: After the ground is excavated, rubble stones 3 are laid over the excavated ground. Next, a thick layer of leveling concrete 2 having on each side a rise-up portion and fall-down portion is provided on the rubble stones 3. And a material 6 having heat insulation property and comprising a cellular concrete or heat insulating board is provided on the concrete 2. And a pressure bearing board reinforced concrete foundation 1 is constructed on the material 6 and the foundation 1 is connected to the concrete 2 through a reinforced concrete 9. Further, an elastic material 5 is provided under the side and the end of the foundation 1. As a result, the impact due to a horizontal force of earthquake is absorbed by the elastic material 5 and the heat insulating material 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
