PRESSURE PROOF TESTING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRESSURE VESSEL AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE: To linearly change the pressure in a test sample at a fixed rate according to a test condition by immersing the test sample of a pressure vessel for storing a pressurizing liquid in a stored liquid in a test tank, and causing pressure rising. ;CONSTITUTION: An accumulator 5 is installed in a lower position than a test tank 1 filled with water as a stored liquid 2, and with a test sample 3 such as a bolt not joined, the forward part from a coupler 12 of a pressurizing connecting pipe body 9 is inserted in the water in the test tank 1. When an electric current is applied to a power source 14 of a controller 16, an open valve of an electropneumatic proportional valve 15 is opened, and a liquid chamber 8 of the accumulator 5 is opened to the air, water in the test tank 1 is liquid-tightly supplied to the liquid chamber 8. Subsequently, the test sample 3 is sunk in the tank, and water is poured from an opening. The forward part from the coupler 12 of the connecting pipe body 9 is separated from the coupler with an automatic switching valve, and the test sample 3 is screwed in the joint part 11. When the test sample 3 is put in the water in the test tank 1 and connected to pressure piping, and pressure rising is started, the peak pressure is displayed when the test sample 3 is broken.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
