PURPOSE: To obtain a container for plant culture comprising side parts composed of a nonwoven fabric and an unpointed bottom part made of a nonwoven fabric, having a simple structure, being readily maintained, preventing roots wrapping, promoting occurrence of lateral root and having excellent handleability. CONSTITUTION: This container for plant culture 1 is made of a synthetic fiber made of PP, polyethylene terephthalate, etc., and comprises outer surfaces consisting of side parts 1b composed of a melted and heat-treated nonwoven fabric and an unpointed bottom part 1a composed of a nonwoven fabric. The container for plant culture 1 is charged with soil such as light soil and arranged on the ground to preferably culture a plant.
