PURPOSE: To provide a finger-on detecting device for detecting that a finger directly makes contact with a protecting window member, informing a photographer of it, and preventing a finger-on by providing a transparent conductive detecting film on the outer surface or inner surface of the protecting window member of the light projecting part or light receiving part of a camera. ;CONSTITUTION: A detecting film 34 consisting of a transparent conductive film is provided on the outer surface of the diffusion transmitting plate 28 of a stroboscopic light emitting device 22, and the detecting film 34 is fixed to the inner surface of a camera body 10 partially in contact with the base end part of a conductive plate 36 consisting of a conductive material such as metal. The top end part of the conductive plate 36 is brought into contact with the terminal surface of a control base 38, and a detecting circuit for detecting the grounding or change of electrostatic capacity of the detecting film 34 is provided on the control base 38. When the finger of a photographer touches the detecting film 34, the detecting film 34 is earthed to change the electrostatic capacity, and this is detected by the detecting circuit to alarm it into a finder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
