PURPOSE: To execute arrangement of horizontal reinforcements without requiring much time and labor, and to provide the arranged horizontal reinforcements with improved capability of absorbing energy on an earthquake. ;CONSTITUTION: Reinforcements, each formed by bending in continuous C shapes with the opened sides 5a of incomplete rectangles as seen in the planate view formed in zigzagging, are paired, and the opened sides are closed with the opposite reinforcement to form complete rectangles as seen in the planate view. Then, the reinforcements are laid in the vertical direction in tiers and temporarily laid as horizontal reinforcements 6 on the bottom of a column. Then, the horizontal reinforcements 6 are lifted up gainst column reinforcements to a specified height for the final arrangement, and fixed to the column reinforcements.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
