PURPOSE:To secure the always superior brake faculty by installing a reservoir capacity varying device which selectively controls the capacity of a reservoir by the signal supplied from a control unit for antiskid control, into the reservoir of the captioned device. CONSTITUTION:The first control valve 5 which is closed by the hold signal supplied from a control unit 13 is installed into a main hydraulic passage 3 extended from a master cylinder 2. Further, the second control valve 7 which is opened by a decompression signal supplied from the control unit 13 and allows the pressurized oil in a brake device 4 to flow into a reservoir 8 is installed ioto a subhydraulic passage 6 which makes a detour around the first control valve 5. In the antiskid device equipped with such constitution, a reservoir capacity varying device 81 consisting of a stopper member 81a which restricts the stroke of the piston 8a of a reservoir 8 and keeps the capacity at a small value, solenoid 81b which shifts the piston 8a in case of electric conduction and increases the capacity, and a return spring 81c is installed into the reservoir 8.
