NAIL GUIDE DEVICE IN NAILING MACHINE FOR CONNECTION NAIL

PURPOSE: To always hold a wire connection nail to a normal posture by effectively preventing that the feed function of the wire connection nail is damaged for a plastic sheet connection nail. ;CONSTITUTION: The guide plate 15 of a wire connection nail and a plastic sheet connection nail is arranged in the recessed part 14 provided to one side wall of a feed passage 4 and the rear end of the guide plate 15 is supported in a revolvable manner by the support shafts 16 provided to the upper and lower walls of the recessed part 14 of the feed passage 4 and the front end thereof is arranged so as to be capable of advancing and retreating with respect to the feed passage 4. The front part of the guide plate 15 is energized by a spring so as to protrude into the feed passage 4 to position the end surface of the front part behind a nose part and, by the upper end surface of the guide plate 15 and the head guide groove of a connection nail formed on the other side of the feed passage 4, the rear surface of the nail head of the wire connection nail 26 is guided and the surface 21 of the guide plate 15 is formed as an inclined surface so that the front end thereof protrudes into the feed passage 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
