PRIMARY COOLANT SYSTEM APPARATUS OF FAST REACTOR

PURPOSE: To provide and primary coolant system component of fast reactor capable of small-sizing the whole facility of fast reactor and preventing gas carry-under in the primary coolant. CONSTITUTION: Inside of a vertical cylinder container vessel 2 with closed upper and lower two ends, a partition wall 5 partitioning upper plenum 3 and lower plenum 4 is provided, and at a part of the container vessel 2, an inlet piping and an outlet piping of primary coolant are penetrated through the upper plenum 3 and the lower plenum 4. An inlet 11 and an outlet 12 of primary coolant path open to the upper plenum 3 and the lower plenum 4, respectively in the radial center part of the partition wall 5. An intermediate heat exchanger 6 wherein a secondary coolant flow path connects an inflow piping 13 and an outflow piping 14 for secondary coolant, is provided. In the annular part of the partition wall 5 between the container vessel 2 and the intermediate heat exchanger 6, a plurality of main circulation pumps 8 driving the primary coolant are placed with intervals on almost the same circumference.
