RECOVERING APPARATUS FOR QUICK LIME BAKED ON SINTERING MACHINE PALLET

PURPOSE: To enhance the recovery efficiency of a recovering apparatus for sucking and recovering generated quick lime powder by a recovery hood by manufacturing the powder from limestone at the uppermost layer of a material on the pallet of a Dwight-Lloyd sintering machine. CONSTITUTION: The width of a recovery hood 25 having a seal skirt 26 is set equally to or slightly narrower than the width W (i.e., the width W of a recess) of a quick lime powder 22 in size engaged with the full width of the recess. Thus, the gap of a seal skirt is not increased, the decrease in an air flowing speed is eliminated, the suction force is assured, and the recovery efficiency is improved.
