PRESERVATION OF BODY LIQUID SAMPLE, URINE SAMPLING CONTAINER, URINE SAMPLING METHOD AND IMMUNOLOGICAL MEASUREMENT OF URINE SAMPLE

PURPOSE: To prevent the denaturation caused by the decomposition of the dissolved component and bacteria in a sample by adding the compound expressed by the specified formulas and the compound selected among dehydroacetic acid and the like in the sample picked up from a mammal. ;CONSTITUTION: In the sample, which is picked up from a mammal, the compounds expressed by formulas I and II (R₁ is an alkoxyl group or the like, whose number of carbon is up to 4, and R₂ is an alkylene group, whose number of carbon is up to 4), and at least one compound, which is selected from dehydroacetic acid, sorbic acid or benzalkonium chloride, are contained. As the compouned expressed by formula I, there are bezoic acid or the like and the salt thereof, p-oxy-benzoic acid ester and alkoxyphenol of 4-methoxyphenol or the like. As the compound expressed by the formula II, there are benzyl alcohol and the like. Of these compounds, 4-methoxyphenol and the salt of dehydroacetic acid are preferable. The concentration of the content is about 0.001-5%, preferably 0.01-2%. Thus, the denaturationc caused by the decomposition of the dissolved component and the bacteria in the sample can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
