WRAPPING MATERIAL FOR PROMOTING SOLIDIFICATION OF MUDDY WATER AND METHOD FOR SOLIDIFYING MUDDY WATER

PURPOSE: To promote solidification of muddy water by enclosing a powdery solidification promoter which reacts with muddy water and promotes solidification in a bag formed of a water-soluble material and throwing the obtained wrapping material for promoting solidification into muddy water together with the bag and stirring the powdery solidification promoter with muddy water after the bag is dissolved. ;CONSTITUTION: A wrapping material 1 for promoting solidification of muddy water is constituted of both a bag 2 for wrapping which is formed of a water-soluble material and a solidification promoter 3 enclosed in the bag 2 for wrapping. As a method for using the wrapping material 1 for promoting solidification, muddy water 4 generated from the build-up site of a pile is collected in a shallow sump K through a raceway and thereafter the solidification promoter 3 is thrown into muddy soil 4 together with the wrapping material 1 for promoting solidification without taking out the solidification promoter 3 from the bag 2 for wrapping. Since the solidification promoter 3 is not soared as dust at this time, the environment of a working site is not contaminated and handling is easy.
