MULTIACCESS CELLULAR COMMUNICATION HAVING DYNAMIC SLOT ASSIGNMENT AND REDUCTION OF COCHANNEL INTERFERENCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dynamically assigning frequency reusing cells by which the throughput can be increased. ;SOLUTION: Frame slots 604 and 614 through which an antenna receives incoming link information 606 and transmits outgoing link information 616 are arranged in accordance with a preset frame constitution so as to reduce mixed cochannel interference(CCI). When outgoing link transmission from one base station antenna 611 in a certain cell interferes with incoming link reception at another base station antenna 601 in a frequency reusing(FR) cell, the mixed CCI occurs. Therefore, a potentially interfering antenna in the certain cell is guided to transmit the outgoing link information by using a frame section which is different from that used by the potentially interfered antenna in the FR cell for receiving the incoming link information. The frame slots are dynamically assigned in accordance with the request from a user and, on the other hand, the remaining part is assigned to incoming link communication and outgoing link communication.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
