PURPOSE: To facilitate a torch nozzle, etc., being used for an automatic device where spatters are not scattered in the circumference without being damaged by peeling and sucking the spatters by the vacuum force by an ejector and the flow velocity energy of suction air. ;CONSTITUTION: The welding torch nozzle 2 is first inserted into a vacuum nozzle 10 of a vacuum ganerator 8. A shielding gas supply path 13 of the torch nozzle 2 is closed by a solenoid valve 17 and compressed air of a compressor 9 is sent to the vacuum generator 8 by opening a solenoid valve 12. The spatters 1 stuck and accumulated on the peripheral surface of the torch nozzle 2 are peeled and sucked by the flow velocity energy of air flowing in from a void 11 and removed by a filter part 21. The torch nozzle 2 is then lowered to close the void 11 and a solenoid valve 14 is opened only on an air supply path 20. The spatters 1 stuck and accumulated on an inner wall 15 of the torch nozzle 2, a contact tip 3 and a tip holder 4 are peeled and sucked by the flow velocity energy of the flowing-in air and removed by the filter part 21.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
