PURPOSE: To separately and comprehensively measure nitrogen monoxide synthase (NOS) important in experimental medicine, clinical medicine, etc., by using an antibody specifically combining with NOS in hemangioendothelium a cell or an antibody fragment equal to the antibody. ;CONSTITUTION: An antibody specifically combining with nitrogen monoxide synthase (NOS) in hemangioendothelium a cell or an antibody fragment equal to the antibody, an antibody specifically combining with an NOS in a cerebellum or an antibody fragment equal to the antibody and an antibody bonding to both the antibody combining with NOS in hemangioendothelium a cell and the antibody combining with an NOS in a cerebellum or an antibody fragment equal to the antibody are used and nitrogen monoxide in an organism specimen such as blood, urine, tissue, etc., are separately or comprehensively and simply and accurately measured by immunoassay by a sandwiching process for combining a solid-phase antibody with a labeled antibody and determining nitrogen monoxide in the combination or immunoassay by a competitive method for competing the labeled antigen with nitrogen monoxide in the specimen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
